The Night King and his Army of the Dead have been a constant threat lurking in the background in Game of Thrones.
However, season seven saw the White Walkers properly come out of the shadows and reveal themselves to be a serious problem for Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington) and friends – which seems to include Cersei Lannister (Lena Heady) now.
Season seven saw Jon and Daenerys Targaryen bring a real-life walker to King’s Landing to prove to Cersei how dangerous they really are.
However, what is likely to happen is a final battle between Jon Snow and the Night King’s army, which will be something to behold.
A new theory posted on Reddit has thrown up a possible location of this battle, and it’s an interesting one.
“I think it’s possible HBO has been saving this castle [Storm’s End] for an epic final stand against the Night King,” wrote We_The_Raptors on Reddit.
“Otherwise why not use it during season two when Stannis/Renly were negotiating right there?
“I think they wanted to save it for later so that they could create the set for season eight.”
They continued: “Also, Storm’s End is one of the only castles constructed by Bran the builder, with Winterfell and the wall being the others.
